A Taste of Emerald Coast: Cancale & Saint-Malo Day Trip

Embark on a spell-binding journey through Bretagne's Emerald Coast, combining the charming seaside town of Cancale with the historic walled city of Saint-Malo. This day trip promises fresh seafood, breathtaking ocean views, and a taste of Breton culture, 


Day Trip Itinerary:

9:30 AM: Set off from The Walnut Grove Cookery School enjoying the picturesque countryside as you approach the coast.

11:00 AM: Arrive in Cancale, renowned for its oyster farms and breathtaking seaside location. Immerse yourself in the maritime atmosphere. Visit the vibrant oyster market, learn about oyster farming traditions, and savor a fresh oyster tasting (optional).


12:00 PM: Indulge in a delicious lunch at a charming Cancale restaurant, featuring local specialties like fresh seafood, crêpes, galettes, and maybe even a glass of cider.​

1 PM: Depart for Saint-Malo, the "City of Corsairs," with its impressive ramparts and rich maritime history.​ Enjoy free time exploring Saint-Malo's historic old town, the ramparts, charming squares, and the iconic Saint-Vincent Cathedral. Wander through the quaint streets, browse souvenir shops, or enjoy a sweet crêpe at a café terrace.


5:00 PM: Depart from Saint-Malo and relax on the comfortable ride back to The Walnut Grove Cookery School. 

6:30 PM: Arrive back in Saint Hilaire du Maine with unforgettable memories of a day spent exploring the culinary delights and historical treasures of Brittany's Emerald Coast.​

             650 Euro Two Persons (Sharing a room)
